This cookie policy explains how Yum! Curries (operated by Aurum Grove Limited) uses cookies and similar technologies on yumcurries.com. It complements our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner about how the site is being used.
"Similar technologies" includes web beacons, pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel), local storage, session storage, and conversion APIs (e.g. Meta CAPI server-side, Google Ads Enhanced Conversions).
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for core site functionality (e.g. remembering your consent preferences, ensuring forms work). These do not require consent under UK PECR / GDPR.
Analytics & performance
Help us understand which pages drive orders, where users drop off, and which creative resonates. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps + session replay; PII auto-masked), and Cloudflare Workers Analytics. These are loaded only after consent (Consent Mode v2 default = denied for non-essential cookies until granted).
Advertising / conversion measurement
Used to measure conversions from paid ad clicks (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and to build retargeting audiences (anonymised). We rely on first-party + server-side conversion APIs where possible (Meta CAPI via Cloudflare Worker; Google Ads Enhanced Conversions) to reduce reliance on browser cookies.

4. Server-side technologies (no browser cookies)
We also use server-side conversion measurement that doesn't rely on browser cookies, including:
- Meta CAPI via a Cloudflare Worker (
yumcurries-capi.jasjit-c06.workers.dev) — sends conversion events to Meta directly. Each event has a deduplication ID matched to any browser-side Pixel event so we don't double-count. - Google Tag Manager (GTM-WJQ2M543) — loads tags after Consent Mode v2 grants consent.
- Google Ads Enhanced Conversions — first-party hashed email/phone (only when you submit the optin form and consent to ad measurement).
5. How to control cookies
- On this site: use the cookie banner (when shown on first visit) to accept, reject non-essential, or customise. You can revisit your choice at any time by clearing the
yc_consentcookie or contacting us. - In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies via the settings menu. See allaboutcookies.org for instructions.
- Opt out of ad-network tracking: Your Online Choices (UK).
- Disable Meta Pixel cross-site tracking: Meta off-Facebook activity controls.
6. Aggregator cookies (not ours)
When you click an "Order on Uber Eats" or "Order on Deliveroo" button, you leave yumcurries.com and enter the aggregator's site. Their cookie policies apply once you do — see Uber privacy notice and Deliveroo cookie policy.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our cookie use evolves (e.g. new analytics, new conversion APIs). The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
